LAS VEGAS -

Nevada gambling regulators are investigating MGM Resorts International after Michael Jordan's underage son bragged on Twitter about partying at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub.

Nevada Gaming Control Board enforcement chief Jerry Markling said Monday that regulators are looking at whether the casino operator violated any laws prohibiting underage drinking or gambling.

Markling says people under 21 often try to gamble or drink in Las Vegas. He says punishment for venue operators depend on the situation's circumstances.

Jordan's 19-year-old son Marcus Jordan tweeted Aug. 20 about spending $35,000 at Haze at MGM Resorts' Aria Resort & Casino.

The Central Florida guard was in town for his dad's fantasy basketball camp.
