Most NFL teams are reporting to training camp today through the weekend (if they haven't reported already).
Players with Tampa Bay area ties are scattered throughout the league. There are productive veterans and at least one surefire Hall of Famer. There are hot shot draft picks and rookie free agents just hoping for an opportunity.

Darren Howard (Boca Ciega), defensive end, Philadelphia Eagles: Still playing effectively in his 10th NFL season.
Matt Huners (Palm Harbor University), center-guard, San Francisco 49ers: Rookie free agent has some versatility.

Michael Jenkins (Leto), wide receiver, Atlanta Falcons: Settling in nicely as team's No. 2 receiver (behind Roddy White).
Mike Jenkins (Bradenton Southeast), cornerback, Dallas Cowboys: More is expected from Jenkins, a 2008 USF first-rounder, who had a so-so rookie season.
