TAMPA – Numerous young women within the Tampa Bay area have been selected to participate in the 2014 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Tampa pageant competition that will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2, including Faith Richardson, Kailey Scanlon, and Emmelrose Francois, all of Tampa.
The girls learned of their acceptance into this year’s competition following local interviews. All submitted applications and took part in an interview session that was conducted by this year’s pageant coordinator.
The girls will compete for a share of thousands of dollars in prizes and specialty gifts. There are four divisions that will have the young ladies ages of 7 to 19 competing in modeling, which includes casual wear and formal wear. Most important, all the girls will display their personalities while interviewing with this year’s panel.
The winner will represent the Tampa area at the national competition in Orlando for more than $30,000 in prizes and awards.
