TAMPA – The South Tampa Chamber of Commerce has announced that local radio personality Jack Harris will emcee the ninth annual Taste of South Tampa on April 13.
Harris is the co-host of AM Tampa Bay on 970 WFLA weekday mornings, co-host of the Mayor's Hour with Mayor Bob Buckhorn, the voice of the Tampa Bay Storm and the Outback Bowl.
The Taste of South Tampa is presented by Older and Lundy Family Law, and serves as the chamber's signature annual event.
Held in Hyde Park Village the outdoor festival offers live entertainment, beer, wine and soda along with an array food from restaurants.
This family friendly event will feature a Kids Zone with complimentary face painting, Lil Mac Fire Truck and other activities.
The new Pet Zone will include treats and wading pools for the pups.
A portion of the ticket sales will benefit Metropolitan Ministries, which will also benefit from the event's food drive. For each nonperishable food item donated, attendees will receive an entry into a drawing for prizes from participating restaurants,
