RIVERVIEW – At the Y’s Camp Cristina, there’s no way a kid can’t help but have fun. There are so many choices across 65 acres tucked off Balm Riverview Road, a kid’s head could spin. During traditional weekly camps, kids can choose from archery, rifle range, high ropes course, zip-line and horseback riding, among other organized sports and games.

And what’s summer without getting a little wet? In addition to the Olympic-size swimming pool and twice weekly swimming lessons based on each campers’ ability, there’s Lake Cristina. With life preservers for all, kids can take a plunge down one of the water slides, navigate around in a canoe or kayak or just cool off with their friends during a game of Marco Polo.

For an additional fee, campers can select from speciality camps that include: paintball, equestrian, fishing, ultimate sports and others like Iron Chef, Paint like Picasso, Junkyard Warriors and Myth Busters.

Although the summer is already in swing, Camp Cristina still has limited space available, depending on age, interest and week selection. For information, call (813) 677-8400.
