There are two parts necessary to having your dream home. The first is the location that you want. Whether it's a gorgeous lot on a lake, secluded in the woods or in your dream neighborhood. Next, you have to find a builder who knows how to build your dream home the way you want it.
When it comes to finding that perfect location, you will know it when you see it. For the builder, Shimberg Homes officials say you should turn to them.
"Along with the expansion of our on-your-lot building, Shimberg Homes has already surpassed its number of closings in 2007 at this point in 2008," says Jackie Hillman, director of sales and marketing. "We are excited about the growth of our company and continue to aggressively price our homes to make them a terrific value for home buyers."
With homes priced from less than $100 per square foot, Hillman says Shimberg Homes is the builder to put that dream home on your dream lot.
Shimberg Homes has been in home-building since 1957. Richard Shimberg, president and CEO, is a second-generation Tampa builder, and chairman Stephen Weinberg is a third-generation builder with more than 37 years experience.
While you may be attracted to Shimberg Homes for its prices, Hillman says you also should know that the company is all about quality craftsmanship.
"How we build your house is just as important as where and what we build," Hillman says. She adds that Shimberg has a team of people that is dedicated to fine craftsmanship. She says Shimberg uses the industry's best subcontractors, all members of the local builders association.
Shimberg also works to make sure the building of your dream home is not a daunting process.
Once you have selected a lot, Shimberg will do a site evaluation on the property, Hillman says. After you choose a floor plan, which can be custom-designed just to suit you, Shimberg will provide an estimate within two to three days. Once you approve the estimate, Shimberg completes the plan design and begins permitting.
From watching the stakes go in the ground, to the slab being poured and the walls going up, there is some magic about watching a house go up that you know will be your home, Hillman says.
"Shimberg Homes believes in providing quality workmanship and an overall superior experience to our clients. Whether you are building an on-your-lot home or purchasing a home in one of our five communities around the Tampa Bay area, we guarantee a hands-on personal experience throughout the buying and building process and beyond," Hillman says.
Shimberg is building at King's Gate in Brandon, Riverplace in Riverview, Country Way Townhomes in Temple Terrace, Sandhurst at Stonebrier in Lutz and Lake Magdalene Circle in Carrollwood.
