With homes at suburban country clubs, in urban neighborhoods and everywhere in-between, McCar Homes can build a home to suit any lifestyle and budget, says Tim Hultgren, division sales manager for Tampa.

Founded more than 50 years ago, McCar Homes creates "beautiful, quality homes with curb appeal," Hultgren says.

In the Tampa Bay area, McCar homes can be found in several communities, including Heritage Isles in New Tampa and Highland Ridge in Hudson.

"Heritage Isles is one of New Tampa's finest communities and we are pleased to offer our luxurious collection of estate homes," Hultgren says. "These exquisite floor plans and large conservation and golf course home sites offer the unique features new home shoppers have come to expect when looking for the best in upscale, Tampa living."

Fourteen McCar lots remain at Heritage Isles, which offers residents plenty of places to play, including a water park, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, a roller rink and a children's playground. Residents also can enjoy a Par 72 championship golf course, a fitness center, a children's activity room and a 25,000-gallon pool with a typhoon water slide and poolside service.

"Homeowners will never want to leave," Hultgren says.

With four floor plans to choose from, homes provide four to five bedrooms and up to 3½ bathrooms in 2,858 to 4,188 square feet of living space. The homes are priced from $359,900 and also offer three-car garages and covered lanais.

The Bristol model boasts a designer kitchen with 42-inch cabinets, granite counter tops, a stone tile backsplash, black and stainless-steel appliances and a breakfast bar. The model also features 11-foot ceilings in the living and dining rooms, crown molding and mahogany floors.

"This is the perfect home for entertaining," Hultgren says.

Highland Ridge in Hudson is designed to bring neighbors together, Hultgren says. The Pasco County community features neo-traditional cottage-style homes and McCar's new Americana Collection, available exclusively in Highland Ridge.

"We are proud to offer this innovative collection of homes to Tampa area new home shoppers," Hultgren says. "But we are very excited about the fact that Highland Ridge is a place where you can get to know your neighbors on a more intimate level, spend time outdoors together and bring back that spirit of front yard living.

"All our homes in Highland Ridge feature front porches and have backyards large enough for play, cookouts, family gatherings and socializing with neighbors," he adds.

The homes are priced from $138,400 and each backs a conservation area.
The St. Cloud offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,271 square feet of living space. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom Carabelle provides 1,491 square feet of living space and is priced from $152,900.

Homes at Highland Ridge feature tile in the kitchen, bathrooms and entry, carpeting throughout, 36-inch arched top maple cabinets, brushed nickel hardware and light fixtures and stainless-steel bathroom fixtures.

Standard, detached two-car garages are at the home's rear, giving great curb appeal and eliminating the parking lot feel of many other neighborhoods, Hultgren says.
