Avalon's newest model is the two-story Bella Vista at The Lakes Of Outlaw Ridge in Land O' Lakes, named Best of Show in the 2008 Pasco Building Association's Parade of Homes ... Neighborhoods on Parade. The model provides 4,127 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a den, bonus room and three-car garage.
"It's elegant and dynamic from top to bottom. We literally wrote a wish list of all the latest wow features we could ever want in a model, and this model incorporates them all," Zuckerman says. "It's a million dollar home for less than half the price."
The Bella Vista floor plan is priced from $435,900.
Avalon will build a home on a customer's lot as well.
Some "builders shy away from the practice of building on customers' lots, but that has always been a very important part of our business," Zuckerman says.
As a semi-custom builder, Avalon is flexible when it comes to accommodating its customers. "We are happy to adjust our floor plans to meet a family's needs," Zuckerman says. "Our plans range in size from 2,000 to 4,300 square feet."
