United Kingdom-based companies Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes have merged to form Taylor Morrison Inc., says John Hennebery, vice president of sales and marketing, Tampa division.

"Taylor Morrison home buyers can now choose from a wider variety of communities, floor plans and options than ever before," Hennebery says.

The new company is offering something for everyone, he says. Taylor Morrison's Tampa division builds homes priced from $99,900 to more than $1.5 million.

"We have a huge spectrum of homes for people to choose from in the Tampa market now," he says.

"Our customers have come to expect rich and rewarding experiences from our communities," says Sheryl Palmer, Taylor Morrison's president and chief executive officer. "We continue to not only meet but exceed their expectations with homes and communities that we consider some of the best in the business."

In the Tampa Bay area alone, Taylor Morrison is building in 18 communities, including Ruskin, Riverview, Land O' Lakes, Lithia, Hudson, Lutz and Tampa.

"Our mission is to inspire and enrich our customers' lives through homes and communities that truly serve their needs and desires," Palmer says. "With more home choices and communities delivering exceptional value, we feel Taylor Morrison delivers those goals to our home buyers now more than ever."

Financing a new home through Taylor Morrison is convenient thanks to the company's new in-house mortgage company, Taylor Morrison Home Funding, Hennebery says.

Many financing options are available, Hennebery says. "We work really hard to meet the financing needs of our customers."
Combining Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes unites the best of everything previously offered by the two companies, such as lifestyle amenities, family-oriented homes and a passion for superior customer service, Hennebery says.

Palmer says building through Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes has always been a worry- free experience and that hasn't changed.

"Taylor Morrison will continue to offer a unique and worry-free home-buying experience that delivers distinctive homes tailored to fit the needs of the individual," she says. "Consisting of thoughtfully planned living spaces and quality construction, homes by Taylor Morrison offer comfortable and warm environments for all lifestyles."

Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes both have a strong presence in the United States, Hennebery says. Having integrated operations across North America, Taylor Morrison is the 15th largest home builder in the United States and has a combined 200 years of experience, building in more than 280 communities across the country, he says.

Taylor Morrison specializes in first-time, mid-market and mid-to-upscale housing in master-planned and urban infill neighborhoods.
"We're proud of where we're headed and we think our customers will appreciate the synergy of the new company," Palmer says. "As we transition the company, the Taylor Woodrow and Morrison Homes names will still be present in our existing communities but the homes, quality and customer service will be all Taylor Morrison."
