With early voting in Florida under way and Election Day less than two weeks off, candidates and their surrogates are expected to make multiple visits to the Tampa Bay area, part of the Interstate 4 corridor swing area that could decide the outcome of the state race. The visits currently scheduled are:
Today: Jill Biden, wife of Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden (two events)
Where: The Lakeland Center, Lake Hollingsworth, B Room, at 701 W. Lime St., Lakeland
Details: Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the event begins at 1:15 p.m.
Where: Tampa Letter Carriers office at 3003 W. Cypress St.
Details: Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the event begins at 3:15 p.m.

Sunday: Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin
Where: East hall of the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S. Franklin St.
