The weekend of June 15 was a time to celebrate fathers, but for Ryland Homes, Father's Day weekend welcomed a birth of sorts for the company with the opening of models in two single-family communities in the Riverview area.
Located off Gibsonton Road and only a half mile from Interstate 75, Waterstone Lakes has 100 home sites throughout the conservation area. The proximity to the Interstate allows easy drives to downtown Tampa, MacDill Air Force Base and the University of South Florida. Ryland plans to build homes from 1,853 to 3,500 square feet of living space starting in the low $200,000's. Many beautiful ponds surround the community and a large fountain greets visitors at the entrance.
"The location is the primary benefit," said Mike Finley, vice president of Ryland Homes' Tampa division. "But within the community itself, there are a lot of very nice home sites."
With seven floor plans to choose from, buyers can select a home with three or four bedrooms, two or more baths, and a two- or three-car garage, says Finley. They also can design a home from scratch with Ryland's My Style Design Center and design team.
Nearby, off of Rhodine Road and U.S. 301, Ryland shares a community with William Ryland Homes called Enclave at Ramble Creek. It features approximately 86 lots, with 43 belonging to Ryland. Homes range in size from 1,679 to 2,984 square feet of living space with eight floor plans. Prices start in the high $100,000's. A large pond borders the community.
The new model, the Naples floor plan, consists of four bedrooms, 2½ baths, and a two-car garage. The model features beautiful wood floors and a vibrant decorating style, Finley says.
Riverview continually expands its ever-growing retail environment and has a number of restaurants. "It's a rapid growth area," says Finley.
"And the affordability aspect is important too. The schools are good. The accessibility to U.S. 301 and Big Bend Road is convenient, and the new hospital and health care facilities will provide a great local employment center that will feed these communities."
Just south of Enclave, Ryland has 33 home sites at Southfork. The models opened in late June. This community offers many amenities, including a resort-style pool, a children's pool, clubhouse, playground, sports courts and an exercise trail. At Southfork, Ryland will build 2,200- to 3,300-square foot homes priced in the $200,000's.
