PLANT CITY — Tickets go on sale 8 a.m. Thursday for reserve seats to headline concerts at the Florida Strawberry Festival.

Tickets will be available at www.flstrawberryfest ival.com, the main ticket office at 2209 W. Oak Ave. or by phone at (813) 754-1996.

Tickets range from $15 to $55, depending on the artist and seat location. The most expensive tickets are for Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry.

The festival headliners include such non-country acts as Brenda Lee, Styx, Boyz II Men and Third Day.

“It has a lot of diversity and I think it will play out well at the box office,” festival General Manager Paul Davis said.

For the last few years, fans have lined up before the ticket booth opens to get the best seats.

In addition to the headline concerts, gate admission tickets will be available for advance purchase.

Admission tickets purchased in advance are $8 for ages 13 and older and $4 for ages 6 to 12. Admission prices at the gate will be $10 for adults and $5 for youths. Children 5 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Headline concert reserved seat tickets do not include gate admission.

The box office will also have strawberry shortcake tickets available for $3.50 in advance, a 50 cent per shortcake savings over tickets purchased at the festival.

Shortcake tickets are not available online or by phone.
