Participants will include the Tampa Bay Posse Corvette club; Strawberry Crest High School JROTC Army battalion and color guard in military tribute to African-American service members; and the Cowbros – African-American cowboys on horseback.
Marching bands will include Durant High School, Marshall Middle School, Plant City High School, Strawberry Crest High School, Tomlin Middle School and Turkey Creek Middle School.
The parade’s title sponsor is Sunshine State Federal Savings & Loan and co-sponsor is Stingray Chevrolet.
The parade, founded and organized by the Improvement League of Plant City, is part of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Arts Festival, which has been held annually since 1985.
