PLANT CITY An upcoming music video about Christmas in Florida will include some scenes shot at a historic Plant City home.

A crew working with Canadian singer Brian Roman filmed footage for his holiday themed song, “Come on Down to Florida,” at Donna Jean Crocker’s home. The video will be available for a Christmas release. Crocker hosted Roman and fellow singer Christopher Dallo at her home in a Plant City historic district during the singers’ Florida tour. Both singers are based out of Toronto, Canada. Crocker said that in addition to the video shoot they also performed a small concert from her home during their stay. “The thing that I love about both of these guys is they’re so talented and so humble,” she said.

She said she met Roman when he was in Plant City performing at the now-closed Red Rose Inn and Suites and they have been friends ever since. “I’m blessed to have a lot of friends here in the music industry,” Crocker said.

Both singers have performed across the United States, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean.

Roman has performed alongside singers such as Rita McNeil, Ronnie Profit and Jose Feliciano.

Dallo has performed with groups such as Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire, as well as singers Leona Boyd, Sarah McLachlan, David Foster and Josh Groban.
