PLANT CITY Plant City High freshman Bryson Keel was crowned prince and senior Jana Watkins was crowned princess for raising the most money for charity in an annual competition.

A total of 26 students took part in the fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Plant City High scholarship fund. In all, the students collected more than $2,000.

Students entered in the contest, sponsored by the Civinettes, carried around containers to collect donations from classmates.

The top fundraising boy and girl were named prince and princess, respectively.

Other court members, all ninth-graders, included first runner-up Kassie Case, Zoee Causey and Ashlyn Yarbrough.
