Plant City High grad dons white coat at college ceremony

PLANT CITY Padaokoula Moua of Plant City recently took part in a ceremony at St. Louis College of Pharmacy that symbolizes the first step toward becoming a pharmacist.

Moua, daughter of Kurt L. and Rain B. Moua, was among the 242 students who took part in the white coat ceremony at the college. The white coat is a symbol of commitment to professionalism.

Moua is a 2011 Plant City High School graduate.

She and other members of the college of pharmacy’s class of 2017 will spend the next four years gaining knowledge and skills to prepare them to become leaders in the profession of pharmacy.

St. Louis College of Pharmacy, founded in 1864, is the fourth oldest and 10th largest college of pharmacy in America.
