Folk artist to talk about his work at library meet and greet

PLANT CITY – Lakeland folk artist Rodney Hardee will appear from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at a meet and greet at Bruton Memorial Library.

Art created by Hardee and other artists is on display through the end of November at the library at 302 W. McLendon St. Hardee will be available to talk about his work and that of other area folk artists at the gathering at the library’s art wall.

Hardee started painting in the 1970s and was inspired by the work of famous artists such as Grandma Moses and Howard Finster.
