PLANT CITY Carlton Moore, a former Fort Lauderdale city commissioner, will be featured speaker at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Festival leadership breakfast.
The breakfast, sponsored by the Improvement League of Plant City, will be held at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 19 at the John R. Trinkle Center on the Plant City campus of Hillsborough Community College.
Moore, who served on Fort Lauderdale’s city commission for nearly 20 years, is vice president at McKinley Insurance.
Tickets to the breakfast are $25 each and go on sale Nov. 1 at several locations, including the Bing Rooming House Museum, 205 S. Allen St.
