PLANT CITY Concordia Seminary student Nathan “Buck” LeGreco has joined the staff as vicar at Hope Lutheran Church, 2001 N. Park Road.

LeGreco, formerly a chef, is a Galena, Ill. native who plays electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums and works with sound systems.

His duties at Hope Lutheran will include preaching, teaching, worship leadership and more. He will also lead the congregation’s outreach and mission ministry and young adult ministry along with director of Christian education intern Brittany Arlow.

The year of vicarage (internship) for seminary students takes place during their third year of seminary studies and serves as their practical experience.

Following his vicarage, LeGreco will return to Concordia Seminary to complete his studies for the pastoral ministry of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and to be placed in a congregation.
