A 32-year-old man who worked at teen parties has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a girl under the age of 16, and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office believes there might be more victims.

According to the sheriff’s office, Leonard Bame battered the girl the evening of April 9 at his apartment at 6864 38th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.

Investigators said Bame met the victim through his job as a promoter for teen parties at Cafe Charlie in Clearwater. He would often pickup the victim and other juveniles from school and take them to locations to promote the parties.

The sheriff’s office is asking that anyone with information in the case, or if they also are a victim of Bame, to contact Cpl. Amy White at (727) 582-6200. Or, to remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or got to the group’s website.

Bame is being held at the Pinellas County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
