A 49-year-old St. Petersburg man was arrested today in a child pornography case, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

James Edward Cooper was arrested by the FDLE's Tampa Bay Regional Operations Center on three counts of child pornography.

The Tampa Bay Cyber Task Force, including St. Petersburg police, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations, assisted FDLE.

A search of Cooper's home, 1169 24th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, found numerous computers and digital storage devices that will undergo further forensic testing, FDLE said.

Cooper will be booked into the Pinellas County Jail, FDLE said.
