ST. PETERSBURG — The Dalí Museum hosted Spain’s Ambassador to the United States, Ramón Gil-Casares, on Friday for a breakfast with area business leaders.

Gil-Casares offered perspective on economic opportunities in Spain and discussed the connection between his country and the city of St. Petersburg, which is home to the largest collection of Salvador Dali’s famed Surrealist artwork outside of Spain.

The ambassador was appointed to the museum’s board in 2012.
