DUNEDIN - A Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus collided with a van today, and seven people were transported to area hospitals as a precautionary measure, authorities said.

The wreck occurred at Milwaukee Avenue and Roanoke Street, PSTA spokesman Bob Lasher said.

Pinellas Sheriff’s Sgt. Dave DiSano said the two-vehicle wreck was at low-speed.

Jeff Parks, chief of the Dunedin Fire Department, said six of the people transported were on the PSTA bus, and one was in the van.

An investigation is under way.
