A multimedia laser show featuring the music of Pink Floyd is coming to the Mahaffey Theater on June 22 at 8 p.m.
Now in its 25th year of touring, Paramount’s two-hour LaserSpectacular features colorful choreographed lasers, lighting effects, video and 10,000 watts of sound to create a visual experience around the British band’s classic albums, including “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall.”
Tickets are $22, $25 or $29 and go on sale at noon on Saturday at themahaffey.com or by phone at (727) 893-7832.
“Pink Floyd’s music is very dramatic and visual,” LaserSpectacular producer Steve Monistere said in a press release. “Without any lighting effects at all, there is still a show in your mind. Now imagine using lasers, lighting, video and other special visual effects to interpret what your mind is seeing. That is why people love this show so much.”
