An argument over a radio station led to a Lealman man being charged with the attempted murder of his roommate, Pinellas County deputies said.

The stabbing occurred about 8 p.m. Wednesday outside the mobile home that Willie B. Brown, 58, and Abraham Shedrack, 72, shared at the Palace Mobile Home Park, 2500 54th Ave. N., robbery homicide detectives said.

The two were having an argument over a radio station, when the verbal dispute became violent and Brown reportedly stabbed Shedrack at least 10 times, detectives said.

According to detectives, alcohol is a factor in this case.

Detectives said that during an interview, Brown admitted that he had attacked and stabbed Shedrack.
