A Largo man is facing charges of attempted murder after stabbing two people this morning in Clearwater, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called at 9 a.m. to the Sun Terrace Mobile Home Park, 5860 150th Ave. N. At Unit 407, they found residents Stephanie Santiago, 20, and Henry Minniefield, 23, had been each stabbed in the chest. The two were taken to a local hospital, where they are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, deputies report.

According to the victims and witnesses, Armando Sevilla-Cruz, 19, arrived at the residence early today and stabbed Santiago and Minniefield during an altercation, deputies said.

Sevilla-Cruz fled the scene but was apprehended by deputies a short time later. When questioned about the events, Sevilla-Cruz admitted to the allegations, deputies said.

He is being held at the Pinellas County jail.
