Dunedin man dies in Clearwater motorcycle accident

A 44-year-old Dunedin resident died this morning in Clearwater in a single vehicle motorcycle accident, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

Police say Michael Steven Brayden was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on N. Belcher Road at 3:08 a.m. when he lost control of the bike and crashed into the median near Lake Arbor Boulevard.

Brayden was transported to Mease Countryside Hospital with serious injuries where he later died.

Brayden was not wearing a helmet, the highway patrol reports.
