Directory highlights local St. Pete businesses

Scouting the best local art galleries and eateries in St. Petersburg? Keep Saint Petersburg Local has a guidebook for that.

The new directory of locally owned businesses focuses heavily on the arts scene, with photos and information about the city’s urban murals, the galleries on the 600 block and events such as the Second Saturday Art Walk.

The guide includes listings for local attractions, dining, green businesses, shopping, health and wellness and nonprofit organizations. It also features a map with logos distinguishing areas such as the Grand Central District and the Warehouse Arts District.

“Printed guides are still what people pick up most when visiting a new place or to further discover where they live, even if they’re using their smart phones or tablets to garner other information,” said Keep Saint Petersburg Local founder Olga Bof.

The guide is available at all member businesses, including large attractions such as The Dali Museum and the Chihuly Collection.

An online directory is available at www.keepsaintpetersburglocal.org/member-directory.
