A suspect in a robbery at a Circle K last month was found on the roof of his parents' house, Clearwater police said.
Christopher Kelly, 28, of 2350 Ella Place, is charged with resisting arrest and robbery with a deadly weapon.
About 11 p.m. Sunday, a K-9 officer was checking the area for the suspect when he saw Kelly leave a vehicle and flee into his parents' residence, police said. Other officers responded and searched the area, and one saw Kelly hiding on the roof.
He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Kelly was arrested in connection with a robbery at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 29, when a suspect entered the Circle K at 1701 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater, got a can of Coca-Cola from a cooler and took it to the cashier's counter, police said.
As the cashier rang up the soda, the suspect pulled out a knife, demanded money and jumped the counter. Kelly opened register and took the cash, police said.
He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail with bail set at $50,150.
