A Clearwater teenager faces multiple charges after police found him selling weapons and narcotics, including the drug commonly known as Molly, from his house.
Joseph DeSalle, 18, of 2060 N. Betty Lane, was arrested at home about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday as the result of an investigation that began in August, according to Clearwater police.
DeSalle faces two charges of armed trafficking in MDMA, three counts of trafficking in MDMA, two counts of sale and possession of MDMA and one count of possession of cocaine, police said.
Authorities seized 131 grams of MDMA, often known as Molly or Ecstacy, and two grams of cocaine that DeSalle had on him when he was arrested, police said. He also was carrying a 9 mm handgun and 17 hollow-point rounds of ammunition.
An additional 57 grams of MDMA and another 9 mm semiautomatic weapon were found inside the duplex, police said.
He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $226,000 bail.
