Clearwater man sentenced to nearly 11 years in drug plea

A Clearwater man was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in federal prison for attempting to sell 28 grams of crack cocaine to an undercover detective.

Keire Terrell Harvey, 24, pleaded guilty Oct. 15, U.S. Attorney A. Lee Bentley III said in a news release.

According to court documents, from June 2 to July 19, Harvey sold crack cocaine to an undercover Largo police detective on five occasions.

According to the documents, Harvey was arrested July 29 after showing up at a location in Largo to make another sale to the detective. At the time, he had 32.8 grams of crack cocaine he planned to sell, the news release said.
