Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookies and cheerleaders left the football field and raised their voices Tuesday as they sang Christmas carols at All Children's Hospital and Westminster Palms Retirement Home in St. Petersburg.

The group, which included linebacker Lavonte David and running back Doug Martin, joined UnitedHealthcare staff to visit patients and distribute memorabilia, sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Players and cheerleaders gave Bucs teddy bears to patients as part of the Glazer Family Foundation's "Cheering You On!" program, which has handed out nearly 450,000 bears to pediatric patients throughout Central Florida.

UnitedHealthcare also gave each patient a new backpack.
