Long jump — Janarion Grant, Sr., Pasco: Grant took silver after a second-place finish at states.

Triple jump — Tim Bennett, Sr., Ridgewood: Placed 11th at Class 2A-Region 2 meet.

Shot put — Ronald S. Scaife, Sr., Pasco: Placed third at the Class 2A-Region 2 meet and finished 12th at states.

Discus — Elijah Boston, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: District champ who placed second at Class 3A-Region 2 meet and qualified for state meet.

Pole vault — Evan Bales, Sr., River Ridge: Placed third at states in Class 3A and finished second at regionals.

100 — Jordan Roberts, Jr., Zephyrhills: Placed fifth at Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

200 — Nicholas Smith, Jr., Pasco: Qualified for region meet.

400 — Michael Tancreti, Sr., Mitchell: Qualified for the 3A state finals and placed second in the Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

800 — Ethan Weilant, So., Land O' Lakes: Placed sixth at Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

1,600 — Spencer Guerette, Sr., Anclote: Placed third in Class 2A state finals and second at the Class 2A-Region 3 meet.

3,200 — Tyler Stahl, Jr., Land O' Lakes: Qualified for the Class 3A state finals and placed fourth in regionals.

110 hurdles — Jamaree Ried, Jr., Anclote: Finished eighth at regions

300 hurdles — Jamaree Ried, Jr., Anclote: Placed second at regions and qualified for the Class 2A state meet.

4x100 relay — Pasco (Nicholas Smith, Demarius Wilson, Dominick Graham, Janarion Grant): Qualified for the Class 2A state meet and placed second at regions.

4x400 meter relay — Ridgewood (Raymond Berger, Donta Hudson, Cristian Saldiver, Max Livingstone): Placed seventh at Class 2A-Region 2 meet.

4x800 relay — Gulf (Wesley Best, Nick Buliga, James Raymond, Amer Redd): Placed eighth at Class 2A-Region 2 meet.

Coach of the Year Bill Schmitz, Land O' Lakes: Land O' Lakes' boys track and field has taken a full transformation in two seasons under Schmitz, while the Gators have won two Sunshine Athletic Conference championships in as many years. Schmitz has also coached a host of individual state qualifiers.

Discus — Lanashia Pope, Fr., Pasco: Placed 10th at the Class 2A state finals meet.

Pole vault — Casey Chitty, So., Wiregrass Ranch: Placed sixth at state in Class 3A and second at the 3A-Region 2 meet.

100 — Alfreda Steele, Fr., Pasco: Placed fourth at the Class 2A state meet and took second at regions.

200 — Bayle Lewandowski, Jr., River Ridge: Qualified for the Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

400 — Hallie Grimes, Jr., Land O' Lakes: Placed third at Class 3A state finals and third at the Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

800 — Emily Kerns, So., Mitchell: Placed fifth at the Class 3A-Region 2 meet.

1,600 — Emily Kerns, So., Mitchell: Placed 10th at the Class 3A state finals and third at regions.

3,200 — Nikita Shah, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Though she did not compete in the Class 3A meet due to injury, placed second at the 3A-Region 2 meet and won titles at SAC and districts.

100 hurdles — Tayler Jenkins, Sr., Ridgewood: Qualified for regions.

300 hurdles — Savanna Martinson, Sr., Pasco: Placed fifth at regions.

4x100 relay — Zephyrhills (Aaliyah McKenzie, JaKayla Jones, Tyrhonda Mathis, Kara Young): Placed sixth at the Class 3A state finals and third at regions.

4x400 relay — Ridgewood (Michelle Gorski, Courtney Vail, Sandra Nelson, Kimberly Mendoza): Placed eighth at Class 2A-Region 2 region meet.

4x800 relay — Mitchell (Elaina Cancello, Claudia Cancello, Emily Kerns, Amy Murry): Placed eighth at Class 3A state meet and won a region title in Class 3A-Region 2.

Coach of the Year Don Howard, Wiregrass Ranch: In Howard's last season as track and field coach, he was able to lead the Bulls to another Sunshine Athletic Conference title and a district championship. Howard resigned after the season.
