A Dade City teen was arrested Monday in connection with a September burglary at Pasco High School in which more than $20,000 in computer equipment was stolen, according to the Dade City Police Department.
The 16-year-old male, whose identity is not being published because of his age, is charged with burglary and grand theft, both felonies.
About 2:42 p.m. on Sept. 22, the teen broke into a Pasco High School classroom, according to the arrest report. He was able to gain entry into the room by breaking the glass on the door. His blood was found near a cabinet that contained the stolen computers, police said.
He was arrested in the area of Gaskin Road and 15th Street in Dade City Monday afternoon and taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center at the Land O’ Lakes Jail.
