A Land O' Lakes woman was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with child abuse after her son was found tied to a bed twice, according to the Pasco Sheriff's Office.
About 4 p.m. Saturday, a girlfriend of Amanda Nicole Greenwood, 4325 Longshore Drive, saw Greenwood's 3-year-old son tied to the bed with a scarf by his right ankle, an arrest report said.
The boy's pants were soaked with urine, as was his mattress. The girlfriend later found the boy tied to the bed with a scarf around his chest, the report said.
Greenwood, 26, denied tying the boy to the bed after the first incident Saturday, the girlfriend told deputies. Greenwood later admitted to tying the toddler down after he was found a second time by the girlfriend, deputies said.
The girlfriend then called 911, reporting what she saw.
Greenwood remains in the Land O' Lakes Jail with a $5,000 bond.
