Pasco Tribune all-Pasco County boys cross country

First team

Sam Hippely, Wiregrass Ranch, Sr.

He was second in the district and 26th at state. He also won the Sunshine Athletic Conference individual title.

Travis Nichols, Land O' Lakes, So.

He won the district title and was 16th at the Class 3A state meet.

Ermias Bireda, Wiregrass Ranch, Jr.

He combined with Hippely to give the Bulls boys a potent one-two punch. He also was 15th at the Class 3A state meet, the best finish by a Pasco County runner.

Argishti Gazari, Anclote, Sr.

He had the best-ever performance by an Anclote runner. He was 19th in Class 2A at the state meet, the best in his class for a Pasco County runner.

Christopher Sorrick, Anclote, Sr.

He was 28th at the Class 2A state meet.

Second team

Kenneth Fessel, Sunlake, Sr.

Nicholas Kostakis, Mitchell, Sr.

Tyler Mattera, Wiregrass Ranch, Sr.

David Hill, Wiregrass Ranch, Sr.

Tyler Stahl, Land O' Lakes, Jr.

Honorable mention

Anclote – Spencer Guerette; Gulf – Nicholas Buliga; Land O' Lakes – Dillon Oergel, Jake Poore.

Coach of the Year

Chris Loth, Wiregrass Ranch

The cross country community of Pasco County is getting used to Wiregrass Ranch's boys and girls taking "his" and "hers" titles every year. The Bulls took sixth at the Class 3A state meet. They also won their third straight Sunshine Athletic Conference title.
