Eighteen people were arrested Wednesday in a roundup by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office of people on probation who had not registered with the sheriff's office.
The sweep, called Operation Surprise Homecoming, targeted people in the eastern portion of the county who are on probation for burglary and grand theft but had not registered, the sheriff's office said. A detective took a list of people on felony probation and compared that with a list of felons who had not registered.
The sheriff's office also found Michelle Usary, who was not on the list, staying with an unregistered felon and learned that she had an active warrant out of Brevard County for retail theft, the sheriff's office said.
