A memorial for Chad Oulson, the 43-year-old shot to death Monday at a Wesley Chapel movie theater, is scheduled for Saturday.

The service is at 2 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., Land O’Lakes. A visitation begins at 1 p.m.

Oulson, a Navy veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm, was a finance manager a Sky Powersports, a motorcycle and off-road vehicle dealer in Port Richey.

Oulson, of Land O’ Lakes, is survived by his wife of seven years, Nicole, and their 3-year-old daughter, Alexis.

Curtis Reeves Jr., 71, a retired Tampa police officer, has been charged with second-degree murder in Oulson’s shooting death and is being held without bond.

The shooting took place Monday at the CineBistro at Grove 16. Oulson was texting his daughter’s day care during movie previews, friends said. Authorities said Reeves asked Oulson to stop texting and the two exchanged words before Reeves shot and killed Oulson with a handgun.
