Easter service delivers message of healing

— Easter worshippers gathered on the front lawn of Florida Hospital Zephyrhills for the annual Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday under overcast skies. Light early morning rain did not keep the congregants from taking part in the service.

The service is held through the partnership of the Zephyrhills-Wesley Chapel Ministerial Association and the hospital. Mike Holm of Calvary Chapel in Tampa emceed the service and Hospital President and CEO Randy Surber welcomed the ministerial association and the assembly to the grounds.

Several other local ministers also took part in the service. Pastor David Huff of Trinity Church of Wesley Chapel prayed the invocation, FHZ Chaplain Doug Higgins led congregational singing, FHZ Chaplain Mark Warren gave a testimonial for the Samaritan Project for which an offering was taken.

Pastor Mark Asaftei of the East Pasco Seventh-Day Adventist Church brought the scripture reading and Pastor Tim Mitchell of Chancey Road Christian Church brought the Easter message.
