A Pasco County jail scanner detected the glass crack pipe a woman tucked inside a body cavity in an attempt to smuggle it into the facility Monday night.
Jacqueline Willey, 29, 6434 U.S. 19, New Port Richey, was being booked into the Land O’ Lakes Jail about 7:30 p.m. on a cocaine possession charge. Detectives detected the foreign object as she was being screened by an electronic scanner.
A check by deputies revealed a glass pipe used for smoking illegal substances, according to the arrest report.
Residue inside the pipe tested positive for cocaine, the report said.
Willey, who remains in the Land O’ Lakes Jail, is charged with introduction of contraband into a detention facility, possession of paraphernalia and possession of cocaine. Bond is set at $7,650.
