Deputies: New Port Richey man reported missing

NEW PORT RICHEY — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is trying to find Anthony Joseph Cucchiara, a New Port Richey man last seen en route to see his probation officer on May 7.

A Brooklyn native, Cucchiara, 56, was arrested in July for violating probation related to a felony conviction for driving under the influence, sheriff’s records show.

Cucchiara is 5-foot-9 and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a black shirt, and may have a bicycle, the sheriff’s office said.

Cucchiara left his home at 4650 Croton Drive, New Port Richey, on May 7 to visit his probation officer, but never made it to the appointment, the sheriff’s office said. Croton is north of Trouble Creek Road, just east of Grand Boulevard.

Cucchiara was sentenced to 30 days in the Land O’ Lakes Jail in February 2011 after being arrested on his third DUI offense, records show.

On July 5, Cucchiara was arrested for violating probation and served 21 days in the Land O’ Lakes Jail, records show.
