Chasco Fiesta continues through Saturday in New Port Richey, with a boat parade and Country Concert featuring the band Gloriana scheduled for the festival’s final day.

“Proud to be an American” will be the theme of the Ferman Chasco Fiesta Boat Parade, which will start about 1 p.m. Saturday.

The New Port Richey Rotary Club organizes the event, which will start at Millers Bayou and continue along the Pithlachascotee River along the Sims Park waterfront.

The state’s oldest boat parade will have a twist this year: Spectators can vote for their favorite vessel by text message during the event. Boats compete for the Express Employment People’s Choice Award.

On Saturday night, Gloriana will headline the Country Concert at the Sims Park amphitheater. The band’s songs include “Can’t Shake You” and “Best Night Ever.”

Jon Pardi and On Second Thought also will perform. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for the concert.

Preferred seating costs $20 in advance or $25 the day of the show. General admission tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 the day of the show.

Advance tickets are available at the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce and Synovus Bank branches in Trinity and Port Richey. Call (727) 842-7651, or buy tickets online at www. chascofiesta.ticketleap.com.
