The Donald R. Tapia School of Business at St. Leo University has earned Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Florida Water Star for environmentally friendly practices in building construction and maintenance.

A voluntary program, Florida Water Star encourages water conservation in building design. Saint Leo is the third commercial development to earn this distinction within the District’s 16 counties.

Juan Triana was appointed chief compliance officer for Access Health Care LLC, in Spring Hill. He replaces Lynda Dilts-Benson, R.N., who was promoted to chief quality officer. Prior to his appointment, Triana was the regulatory audit supervisor and educator and corporate privacy officer for Access Health Care.

In his new position Triana is responsible for coordinating the development, maintenance, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures, manuals and other documents for the operation of the organization’s compliance program. He will oversee audits of all departments for their compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and industry laws, regulations and standards.
