NEW PORT RICHEY - Two Pasco County men are facing felony charges stemming from unrelated incidents involving sex crimes against children, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
In one incident, a 41-year-old homeless man is facing a sexual battery charge in the rape of a 7-year-old girl over a period of several years, according to a sheriff's office report released Friday.
James Oscar Headrick, no known address, was arrested Thursday by sheriff's deputies after an investigation into allegations that he raped the girl, who is now 15, a sheriff's office report stated.
Headrick, a plumber employed by Premium Plumbing in Spring Hill, was being held at Land O' Lakes jail with no bail, according to the report.
The sheriff's office, which did not reveal the identity of the teenage girl or her relationship to Headrick, said she told police investigators that he forced her to perform sexual acts during a period of several years.
In an unrelated incident, a Land O' Lakes man was arrested Thursday in the molestation of a 6-year-old girl, according to a sheriff's office report.
Mark Pisculli, 45, of 4914 Saratoga Place, has been charged with one felony count of lewd and lascivious molestation, the report stated.
The girl told sheriff's office investigators that Pisculli molested her while they were watching television and told her not to tell anyone about it.
Pisculli, who, investigators say, said he molested the girl, told investigators that he was an alcoholic and was drunk at the time of the sexual assault, the report states.
On Friday, he was being held at the Land O' Lakes jail, also without bail.
