Donations sought for sale to benefit Joshua House

LUTZ – The Friends of Joshua House is seeking donations for The Yard Sale, a fundraising event by the nonprofit organization to benefit the Lutz home for abandoned and abused children.

Donations of gently used clothes, shoes, fashion accessories, home decor, books, videos, games and toys can be dropped at 19004 First St. SW from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday and and noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. Receipts for the donations will be available from the volunteers working the collection site.

The site, a big red building near Lutz-Lake Fern Road and U.S. Route 41, is also the location of the sale, set for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 22.

Large furniture, large appliances, used electronics and televisions will not be accepted.
