Lutz woman wins national kitchen makeover contest

TEMPLE TERRACE – Lena Nejam of Lutz was named the winner of the eighth Wellborn Dream Kitchen Makeover contest. The contest selected entries received from dealers around the country during the period of July 1 to Nov. 30. Style Craft Cabinets of Tampa Bay, 6708 E. Fowler Ave., was the dealer from which the winning entry was selected.

Nejam’s kitchen was installed during the week of Dec. 9.

Mike and Mindy Schoch, owners of Style Craft Cabinets, and Chuck Bullen, territory manager for Wellborn Cabinet, made the surprise announcement to Nejam during a Christmas dinner at Grill 54 on Dec. 13.

“When I woke up I had to go look to make sure it was all real,” said Nejam about winning the contest.

The Wellborn kitchen makeover is open to all clients and potential clients hoping for a chance to win the renovation worth up to $12,000. The ninth contest runs Jan. 1 to May 31, to register visit stylecraftoftampa.com.

The first local winner of the contest was Alana Vanater of Riverview in 2010.
