A planned closing of the northbound Interstate 275 exit ramp to Lois Avenue will be delayed, the Florida Department of Transportation said Friday.
The exit was slated to close late Friday and remain closed for a week to nine days as part of ongoing highway construction in Tampa.
The schedule was changed due to weather conditions and changed work plans, FDOT said. A new closing date will likely be announced Monday, an FDOT spokesman said.
The closure will allow workers to prepare for a shift in the northbound I-275 lanes near the end of the month, FDOT said.
