The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating two suspects in a residential burglary.

About 11:20 a.m. Monday, two men forced open a rear door and entered the home at 4202 Hamilton Ave. They then ransacked the house and took a safe as they fled in a gray Chevrolet, possibly a Malibu or Impala, the sheriff's office said.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, 22 to 29 years of age, with a muscular build and dreadlocks in a ponytail, the sheriff's office said. The second suspect is described as a black male, 22 to 29 years of age, about 6 feet tall, with a muscular build and a partial beard. Their vehicle is a 2000 to 2004, four-door, gray Chevrolet Malibu or Impala with a lighter colored hood.

Anyone with any information on the suspects is asked to call the sheriff's office at 247-8200. Or, to be eligible for a cash reward, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report it anonymously online at or text "CSTB plus your tip" to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
