St. Pete police ask for help to find runaway

The St. Petersburg Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a runaway teen.

Dinhngo Nguyen, 16, 4726 22nd Ave. N. is considered endangered because he suffers from mental and physical conditions that require him to take prescription medications, but he has not taken those medications since he left home Tuesday night.

He is Asian, 5-foot-5-inches tall, 140 pounds, with black buzzed-cut hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and grey shorts and was carrying a clear-colored backpack.. He is described as very introverted.

Dinhngo does not have a vehicle and is believed to be traveling on foot, possibly in either North St. Petersburg or Clearwater.

He has run away from home twice, but both of those times were prior to 2011. On one of those occasion he was found near a bridge in Clearwater. The second time he was found near a CVS store at 22nd Avenue North and 34th Street North.
