TAMPA — A 45-year-old man was taken into custody Monday after state agents said they found more than 1,100 images or videos depicting child pornography in his home.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said its agents arrested Jesus Riol of Tampa. The investigation started in the fall of 2017, the FDLE said, and culminated in Monday’s arrest.
Investigators said they obtained a search warrant for his home, where they discovered several electronic devices that contained the pornographic images.
Riol faces 100 counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of transmission of child pornography — and each count carries a bail of $7,500. He was being held Monday in the Hillsborough County jail in lieu of $787,500 bail.
